Skinny mirrors and other Tricks for retail trade

The other day I noticed that my wife saw particularly thin in the mirror outside the dressing room in a department store. This got me to thinking: could it be that stores warp mirrors so people look thinner when trying on clothes? I spoke with Visual and Creative Manager of a top international companies in retail and asked the question. The Answer? Yes! She told me that stores will quite often lean dressing room mirrors back only slightly to give the illusion of rest, when customers on clothes. Studies have shown that the reduction of "fat mirrors" and "thin mirrors" increase sales. She also showed several other common retail clothing store trick:

Together with the angled mirror lights tends to be softer and more flattering in the dressing room. Some stores destroy actually with sizing clothing so that women will suddenly think they fit in a size zero when they were a size four minutes ago, at a rival shop.Store managers have worked out that men tend to go to the left, and prefers to go downstairs, while women go to the right and upstairs. Men's and women's titles are placed in more sophisticated shops that take into account. "Destination stores, ' as shoes and bags-things that people to buy-is best on the back of the store to force customers to go through other buyable items. The amount of music are adjusted depending on what day and time. For example a hip store to a youthful audience will play music stronger on weekends to operate as a location for the hands to be together.Even if a store has 200 copies of an object, they'll put only 10 out of a time and that it looks special. This is also made on the sale rack-sometimes only one of each size are displayed so that people think they can sell and the better would get it instantly.

One thing I wanted to know was if my suspicions were true that stores jack initial costs so that they can assert that the object is selected. My inside sources said they did not do that in her stores, so I had to do a little research. Under this very seldom watched YouTube videos from Australia, it is quite usual to create false sales: false sales in Australia. I don't know if it proves anything, but it is fun to be upset, so I choose to believe it.

In the meantime, where can I get one of those skinny mirrors of my bathroom at home?
