This is my second vibration plate review, from my earlier review of BH Fitness VIB PRO Vibration plate back in September 2010. In this review, I will focus on simple design, user friendliness, specifications and price in comparison with similar products on the market.
Simple design
Firstly, it should be said that I am not a DIY fan. Something that requires a level of self-building sends me into a panic, so I mandate this part of the process that my husband. He was very pleased to find that the DIY required to build this product were minimal, and even occasionally have two pairs of hands were required, the instructions were easy to follow, all the necessary components was evident and it took much time and effort from beginning to end.
Ease Of Use
Pro Wave is an attractive vibration plate and looks really neat. I how handle is only at the top of the machine, rather than to extend down to the bottom of the machine. This means that you can perform a variety of unlimited routines on the platform that you can do similarly priced models.
Computer console is bold and brightly lit and the instructions that come with it were clear and simple. I got an introduction to what each button was too soon, and fortunately, that my own workout program after only a couple sessions.
Area platform is generous proportions and this is a great advantage. You may not be much of a vibration plate if you just stand on it, so you need a little space from which you can perform some simple exercises. The plate is very large enough lunges, squats, press UPS, calf massage etc and I never felt unstable when stood on it.
Specifications
You should look for a model that can offer a variety of settings when you buy a vibration plate. The most important settings on the plates should frequency (measured in hz, and the speed of the plate to vibrate on), and time. I was pleased to see that the Pro Wave offers both. In fact, there are 4 frequency settings available in this computer does not often on a plate with this price band, so this was an added bonus.
There are some nice optional comes with the machine, the first to arm straps. It can be a little too easy to simply raise the Rails when he, but with arm straps, you can work out the upper body also. The plate also comes with a really detailed exercise chart shows a large number of exercises to try and was on the body that they receive.
Once you understand the basic principles of vibration training, you can start using the built-in drivers. These are 5 challenging routines that will really help you get the most out of your session.
Price
Pro wave has a target price of € 995 but is currently available from Orbus leisure in 479. This is a very competitive price for a model that is set so high. Specification levels means that is sitting comfortably with competitors such as Vibrostation and Power Plate MY5 but is available at a significantly lower price.
Summary
Overall, I have found Pro Wave Vibration plate is a great product, especially for the sub 500 price tag. It is a fixed plate is packed and really easy to use feature. It is highly recommended and I am sure will soon have an army of loyal fans who are eager to take advantage of the whole body vibration training.
