Those who watch TV is probably familiar with game show in which schoolchildren are trying to help adults answer questions that should be familiar with 5th graders. Look at the time because it is one of the few game shows I am convinced that I can win, but every time I watch, I do not win. And even more surprising than my overconfidence is that I actually learn some very deep aspects of our existence, and in turn himself. I could not to be surprised when I realized that even memorial products such as Cremation Urns actually has been influenced by something I learned on this show.
It had to do with social institutions. How easy to forget, I thought, and who really cares about what a social institution is or does. Daily life racing by extremely high speeds. increased workload is accompanied by reduced revenues. parents parenting without the other. and us all on many spin plates, why social institutions even matter?
I was reminded of 9-year-old regular on the show as a compelling reason could be that our beliefs are developed on the basis of social institutions. It is a pretty good motivation to learn more! But lets face it. As adults, we have more important things to priority that pays bills, buy food, caring for children and seniors, and Oh, let us forget found time for enjoyment. So once again I ask-who really cares about these vast social institutions?
The small fifth grader could well take me out of my own world to remind me that we are all part of a much larger world and our knowledge, this is the only one around. We cannot change it as an unwanted car, so that social institutions seem to be much the glue that keeps humanity together and therefore considered true collectibles, souvenirs, we want around. But like everything that is precious in our lives we sometimes forget their importance, and rightly so.
A Social security institution is largely invisible. They are not found in the museums and you can't find a list of them in the yellow pages. But their influence is everywhere, woven into everything we know, touch and feel from the Government, family, universities, hospitals, companies, language, and the legal system. Like it or not, we are part of them and they are exactly why we live as we do.
From a practical point of view, this is how a social institution currently affects us. Environment. This is not an institution, the environmental movement you are talking about and taught in our social Institution for education. When I was a kid, it was everything I learned in school about the environment not to litter. Litter is now only a tick on the long list of responsibilities to keep our environment green. And not just in the way we live, but also in how we die. For example, in large part because of environmental concerns, we are less willing to bury those who have passed away, preferring to keep their ashes in new types of Cremation Urns, Cremation and Memorial for Cremation jewelry; Believe it or not, this trend was created in part by one of our institutions.
But back to the original question. Why we care about them? One reason is that it is mentally refreshing to grasp the cloth which we will be cut. Another is to recognize that we all can change social institutions for the better by helping local, national and global conversations through formal means such as a book or blog or informally at a dinner part; in other words, we should all take part in a cause-and-especially in these times, is a good way to get new leadership that puts our current challenges in perspective.
Remember, we are only a small fragment of time on the evolutionary clock so must we make it count. Even if you don't get from the sofa today that a Social Institution, it is okay. A new thought is a seed of an idea that not only cross the valuable lessons of this generation to the next, but also to learn something about ourselves.
